U-17 Standout Nava Langer Heading to Spain!


Former ECNL Standout and Israeli Youth National Team player Nava Langer is heading to Spain.

For the past month you can find Nava at the UNC fields training every night at 9 or10pm. Her day begins with a early morning two mile run followed by 100 meter sprints. At night you can find her jumping hurdles, shooting, and refining her skill set on the ball.  A commited player since the age of four Nava is looking to land in Spain for the next 10 months, if not longer.  She has now received multiple invitations to jump in with different academies on both sides of the country.

According to her former Coaches, JC Aguilar of JCFC in Connetcicut, "Nava plays at the highest levels and excels when placed around players at that same level".  He continues, "We have had her competing with our boys teams since she was about 7 years of age and because of it she now plays at a very high paced, quicker, and stronger, level of play. 

According to her current Coach, Hornet Basdtidas, "Nava is a great player and what makes her great is that she is consistant at all of the basics and is super intelligent on the field.  She makes few, if any mistakes".  He further states, "I have watched her play with her former ECNL team and while the rest of the team was playing old school force ball or kick and run, whatever you like to call it, Nava maintained her composure on the on ball and attempted to dictate the tempo of the game through a more effective and contagious style of play,  posssession". When you combine that with her speed, and strong technical sill set, you then have a recipe for success. A great kid and pleasure to coach". 

A great player and person with even a better attitude that is contagious to all of the those around her.  We here at CNC wish her the best!
